Web Developer

I have been supporting the Marketing team at the academy transfer content and report bugs on our brand new website to be launched in September

This is giving me a really rounded experience of working under pressure and the ability to meet deadlines and get photos, pages, documents all sent off to whom they needed to eventually be approved by and also receiving them from other members of the team and uploading them to the site and linking in all the relevant pages!

Update –

Now that our site is launched I am continuing to support our marketing team with blog uploads and page edits or creations where needed.

Digital Content Manager

I am currently the Director of Broadcasting at Radio Christmas which means I help to oversee the smooth day to day running and output of the station by staying ‘on-call’ 24/7 during our live broadcast in December to resolve any issues that arise. In addition to this, I train new people on our studios and software upon request! I also implement software that makes the sound of our station better, my most recent update is the implementation of; Zetta, GSelector, Aquira and Broadcast Bionics Virtual Director. I set up all of this software as well as maintaining them on a day to day basis.

Volunteer

I work closely with the director of SKD to promote and better spread awareness of the cause by giving ideas and arranging other people to lead fundraisers on our behalf such as live radio broadcasts on their very own station (Radio Christmas) or organizing publicity and support for the many other events they do such as ‘The Great Amersham Coin Race’ or ‘The Big Sleep’.

The support I have given has enabled them to support over 1,700 children on or at high risk of being on the street between Guatemala and Honduras

Graphic Designer

I created the Serious Entertainment Logos in a few different styles to match potential locations for upload. These were all created as vectors then converted to high red .pngs for web use!

Station Manager

I am currently the Station Manager at Youths Choice from Global Academy which means I help to oversee the smooth day to day running of the station and produce a daily Breakfast Show with the student talent. My technical skills include competent use of Audition, Zetta, G-Selector, Myriad, ProTools. There is nothing I love more than a studio desk, a microphone, and a pair of headphones!

Being ‘Technical Lead’ for a radio station, requires a huge amount of resilience. One milestone moment at Youths Choice was our first live program from 08:00-16:00 in aid of Global’s Make Some Noise charity. The 14 presenters had never been on air before and the pressure was on to train them during their live show, stay on air and execute slick and engaging content within their links. Luckily, we nailed it!

(Please note I am technically a volunteer as I’m not paid because it is a school project)

Digital Content Manager

I am the Digital Content Manager for Mad About Friday’s. MAD is a children’s club run and operated in Amersham, Buckinghamshire on Friday evenings. My main job role entails weekly posts and story updates as well as general digital content creation such as page headers and logos.

Company Director and Owner

I am a 16-year-old Youth Worker / Volunteer I volunteer to help at Chiltern youth projects (http://www.chilternyouthprojects.org.uk/), Amersham youth activities(http://amershamyouth.org/) and Street kids Direct (https://www.streetkidsdirect.org.uk/) I started WeDJ4U as a hobby but now it is my passion and we love seeing people smile. So what are you waiting for Contact us Now!

Technical Services Specialist

As well as working with live production I was also constantly helping the resident IT technician to help report and patch bugs and security issues on both the internal network and our Outlook, Sherif, Abobe, and Monday.com Accounts

This all together gave me a really rounded experience of working under pressure behind the scenes on a project but also the ability to meet deadlines and get price lists, breach notes, student issues, as well as particular students (purposely trying to break down our security), sent off to whom needed to look through and take up further.

(Please note I was a student in year 7-9 and as such, I was a volunteer as I’m not paid to be in this role)
